City Girls are prepping a new album for release later this month.

Girl Code, which follows their debut full-length Period, doesn't have an official tracklist or a features roundup just yet. However, the Miami group did inform fans of its Nov. 16 drop date and share the presumed cover art alongside a devil emoji on Halloween.

Period arrived just ahead of a new level of success for the duo, as mere weeks later they appeared on Drake's gargantuan Scorpion single "In My Feelings." However, that success wasn't without its temporary hiccups. Just as "In My Feelings" was set for surefire viral challenge-assisted dominance, City Girls member JT began a prison sentence on charges of fraud.

That sentence was originally set to begin earlier, but her attorney successfully argued for a delay, citing the Drake co-sign. "This is due to a recent cosign from Drake (other noticeable cosigns include Migos, DJ Khaled, Cardi B, Rick Ross and Trina)," stated the attorney's Blast-obtained request, which actually argued for a lengthier 30-day delay. "It will take three weeks to do the work that needs to be done and then the Defendant can surrender as her first album and its promotion will be done. She can do her time knowing that upon her release her group will be ready to start their second album and tour."

Speaking with Complex in July, the other half of City Girls—Yung Miami—called the stint a "minor" thing. "Leading up until this point, it was like a roller coaster, we had times where we would be sad, we had times when we would be happy, but I just feel like it's a minor setback for a major comeback, 'cause when artists go to the jail they come out bigger, like Kodak," she said at the time.
