Instead of dropping bars like Dame Lillard, Oladipo is mirroring the smoothness of his on-court game by invading the sultry lane of R&B.

Indiana Pacers forward Victor Oladipo will look to carry his team in addition to dropping a whole debut album. The all-star is prepping the side project and kicking off the hype with his new single, "Connected," featuring PnB Rock.

Instead of dropping bars like Dame Lillard, Oladipo is mirroring the smoothness of his on-court game by invading the sultry lane of R&B. He's taking it seriously, too: That upcoming album, titled V.O., will also feature assists from Trey Songz, Tory Lanez, and Eric Bellinger.

It's clear that V.O. is coming together nicely, and things are also going well enough at Oladipo's day job. The Pacers are off to a decent 3-2 start after rolling past the Spurs with a 116-96 victory on Wednesday.

V.O., which follows last October's Songs for You EP, is so to drop Nov. 30. You can pre-order the eight-track project here.
