Lil Wayne was hurt by Eli Manning's comments about him, but he's still in a giving mood.

Lil Wayne responded to some of his most vocal critics in a recent string of posts to his Instagram, including New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.

Following a firestarting interview where Weezy joined Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. to talk about the current state of the Giants offense (spoiler: it's bad), Wayne made the mistake of reading the comments and he's responding to people who criticized him and OBJ.

"My man Odell Beckham, Jr. is taking a lot of heat for this interview," he said. "I've heard things like 'If Odell wants to be taken seriously, why would he do an interview with Lil Wayne sitting next to him.'"

He went on to say that he was specifically addressing reporter Frank Isola and he doesn't want to hear from Isola again.

"Frank, come on. I know you up there in New York. I know a bit about New York. I spent a little time up there on island called Riker's Island," he said. "I don't know much about you, though. And the fact is, you don't know much about me. With that said, keep my name out your mouth."

Wayne also seemed particularly hurt by the response of Giants QB Eli Manning, who claimed that he didn't pay attention to the Tha Carter V rapper.

"I'm the first one to back you up. I tell people 'He got two rings before his brother,'" he said. "And here you talk about 'I don't watch Lil Wayne much.'

"I don't care what you watch...You ain't got to do me like that," Wayne said. "I fucks with you, Eli. It's all good. You ain't got to watch much of me, but you can listen if you could. You probably need to the way you've been playing. You probably need to bang some Carter V before a game. Just a consideration."

It seems like the Giants took Wayne's suggestion into account. The Giants were definitely playing a Carter track at practice. (Tha Carter II, but who's counting?)
