In celebration of his 26th birthday, Lil Durk joins forces with Lil Skies on a new single called "Rockstar."
As the title suggests, the record finds the two rappers reflecting on the hedonistic lifestyle that often comes with fame. Skies takes control of the second verse, rapping about drugs, money, and jet-setting over a Young Chop-produced beat:
"Rockstar lifestyle might not make it/Put prescription drugs on my tongue, I had to take it," Durk raps over the guitar-driven beat. "Keep my secrets deep down inside, I had to face it/For you I put my life on the line, that shit felt crazy."
"Rockstar" marks the latest single off Durk's long-awaited Signed to the Streets III project. It follows "Home Body" with Gunna and TK Kravitz, "Spin the Block" featuring Future, and "Downfall."
You can stream the new single on all major streaming services, including Apple Music/iTunes, Spotify, and Tidal.
Signed to the Streets III is set to drop Nov. 9. The project is now available for pre-order on Apple Music and Spotify.
