Lil Uzi Vert and Hoodrich Pablo Juan have been enlisted for BlocBoy JB's new Don't Think That project.

Tuesday, BlocBoy JB released the new seven-tracker via the usual streaming services. Thanks to some killer sequencing, Uzi's feature (the title track) arrives three tracks in while Hoodrich Pablo Juan's ("Rich Hoes") hits on track six, creating some calming symmetry. Here's the full tracklist:

  1. "Bloc"
  2. "Club Rock"
  3. "Don't Say That" f/ Lil Uzi Vert
  4. "Crip Lit"
  5. "Bacc Street Boys"
  6. "Rich Hoes" f/ Hoodrich Pablo Juan
  7. "Makavelli"

Asked in an interview with BET if there's anything he hates "about Hollywood" since hitting a new level of recognition, BlocBoy JB—whose other 2018 project Simi arrived in May—pointed to the annoyance of misconstrued quotes. "I like seeing new and different things and being able to actually interact with my fans and the people who listen to my music, and those who are the reason I'm here," he said last month. "What I don't like is that it's a lot of word-twisting. You can say one thing, and that'll just bring it to a whole 'nother thing. I can say someone's shoes is ugly or I didn't like the clothes they had on, and someone will say I disrespected them. Like, bloggers. Social media."

Simi got the Chopstars treatment back in August. "His energy in his performance and how he interacted with fans really stuck with me and made me gravitate toward him more as an artist," DJ Hollygrove told Complex when premiering the project's ChopNotSlop rework. "Also, he's a young cat from Memphis and I'm from New Orleans, so I can relate to some of the same struggles he dealt with coming up!"
