Lil Uzi Vert Says 'Eternal Atake' Is Coming Soon

Are you an active member of the Heaven's Gate cult? If so, this latest update on Lil Uzi Vert's 'Eternal Atake' goes out to you.

Eternal Atake may really (actually!) be imminent.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Lil Uzi Vert—while atop a motorbike, no less—said his Luv Is Rage 2 follow-up is "coming out, um, very soon." See for yourself below.

Of course, "very soon" could mean a lot of things. Uzi has been teasing the project, which is presumably a full-length studio album, for what feels like eons now. In reality, however, we are merely 14 months removed from the release of Uzi's "XO Tour Llif3"-featuring debut.

Uzi is famously not one for inundating fans with interviews, choosing instead to maintain an artfully selective social media presence. In one of his few in-depth press discussions last year, Uzi spoke about where he hoped to take his music next. "I don't write, I just go in there," Uzi told Zane Lowe last August. "It's kinda hard for it to be bad . . . I don't even be looking at my songs like they're good or bad. Remember, they're my children. So when I put 'em out, someone accepts them."

We're closing in on the final days of October, arguably the perfect month for Uzi to give us some Heaven's Gate-angering new music, so hopefully that means Uzi's latest Eternal Atake tease will be followed by the album itself. Until that day of secular victory is upon us, we can surely rely on Uzi to keep giving us guest features a la Lil Gotit and Lil Keed's "Heavy Metal" and Juice WRLD's "Wasted."
