One of Lophiile's standout traits is his ability to pair his hip-hop-infused electronic beats with the right rappers who amplify the listening experience. Having previously collaborated with Freddie Gibbs on "Off Top," as well as Nick Grant on "Newno," Lophiile shines once again with his latest cut.

"Common Sense" is the third installment in a series of collaborations between the L.A.-based producer and capable MCs. Roc Nation's own Vic Mensa is the latest rapper to link up with Lophiile, who finds himself engaged in lyrical exercise over a hard-hitting, melodic backdrop.

In addition to operating as a solo act, Lophiile is also one-third of the group Radiant Children. In August 2018, they released their debut project, TRYIN’, which featured "Life’s a Bitch," a song that received placement on the Season 3 premiere episode of Issa Rae’s Insecure.

Speaking of features on the small screen, Vic Mensa will be making his TV acting debut on Lil Rel Howery’s Fox comedy Rel this Sunday (Sept. 30).
