Valee Responds to 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj, and Tyler, the Creator 'Using' His Flow

During an interview with 'Mass Appeal,' Valee pointed out that none of his imitators are correctly pulling off the flow, so he can't be mad: "It just makes me happy because you’re so big but you can’t do something right."

G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam signee Valee has had a breakout year in 2018 with singles like "Womp Womp" and an excellent five-song EP featuring Pusha-T called GOOD Job, You Found Me.

As the Chicago artist's profile has grown, there have been increased rumblings from fans that high-profile rappers like 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj, Tyler, the Creator, and Lil Pump are biting his flow.

Valee had remained quiet on the topic, until now. During an interview with Mass Appeal, he pointed out that none of his imitators are correctly pulling off the flow, so he can't be mad.

"I never get the time to get mad because I’m so happy that they didn’t do it right," Valee explained. "Anybody that uses the flow—Tyler, the Creator, 6ix9ine, Nicki Minaj—no matter how big they are, it just makes me happy because you’re so big but you can’t do something right."

Valee might be taking a low-key approach to situation, but that isn't stopping other rappers from standing up for his originality. During a recent Instagram Live session, Trippie Redd even spoke up and said, "Shout-out to the boy Valee. I see everybody biting your sound. How's it feel? It should feel amazing, 'cause you're a fucking goat. Remember that."
