Travis Scott Updates Nav's Vocals on 'ASTROWORLD' Cut "Yosemite"

Travis Scott has updated the vocals for Nav on "Yosemite" after fans pointed out online that the XO signee was difficult to hear on the ASTROWORLD cut.

Tweaking major albums after their initial release has become a commonality these days; Nicki Minaj said she was going to makesome changes to Queen right after its release. When Travis Scott dropped ASTROWORLDlast week, one crux was Nav’s vocals on “Yosemite." Fans were quick to point out, through a few hilarious memes, that the XO signee’s voice was hard to hear, unlike the song's other feature Gunna.

Nav: "Bro don't you think my vocals a bit to low?"

Scott definitely took notice, because the track has been updated and Nav’s vocals are noticeably louder. The change is already reflected on streaming services, so now fans can stream “Yosemite” without struggling to hear the Toronto artist.

“Yosemite” is the latest collab between La Flame and Nav. The Toronto artist produced music on Scott’s last album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, and the two recently released the video for “Champion” from Nav’s debut album Reckless. The video was shot in Hawaii, when Scott gathered a group of collaborators to help him finish ASTROWORLD.

The Houston native recently announced his inaugural music festival, also dubbed Astroworld, in his hometown on Nov. 14. No lineup has been released, but it’s not unreasonable to expect that Nav would make an appearance.
