We have been waiting nearly four months now for Glacier Boyz to drop, and no one seems to know what happened to the long-awaited collab project with Gucci Mane, Migos, and Lil Yachty. In an interview with Rap-Up, Yachty explained that the album hasn't come out because the quality of the music "wasn’t up to par" with what they have come to expect of themselves, especially coming off the heels of Migos dropping their latest studio effort. "We had hella songs, but some of them just wasn't up to par," he said, at the 41-second mark in the video above. "They had just dropped Culture II. I didn’t want to put no crap out."

After Gucci teased an April 13 release date in an Instagram post that has since been deleted, he posted a tweet claiming that he was going to give away the album for free.

Fuck !it I might just drop #GlacierBoyz for free tonite 14 tracks 🏹💰💰💰💰

That never happened.

In a June interview with Billboard, Gucci addressed the hold-up, claiming that they were "putting the final touches" on the project. "We got like 15 songs recorded," he said at the time. "We still just whipping it up again. We're going back in the lab again and putting the final touches on it. We're working on it." There may not be a better a positive spin to put on this story other than good things come to those who wait. We have waited long enough, so we expect the project to be as good or better than "Solitaire."
