18-year-old Noah Cyrus, Miley’s sister, appears to be dating 21-year-old Soundcloud rapper Lil Xan. Besides a bunch of suggestive Instagram posts,People has confirmed the relationship, citing an anonymous source who adds that “it’s new.”
On Saturday, Xan posted a selfie with Cyrus to his Instagram with the tongue-in-cheek caption: “We ugly as fuck I know.” Somehow, this set off alarm bells for fans, who started to connect the dots in the comments.
Neither have officially confirmed they’re dating, but these Instagram captions tell their own story. In another photo, Lil Xan calls Cyrus his “baby girl” and in yet another snap of the two almost touching tongues, he cuts right to the chase with: “I like her.”
For her part, Cyrus called the rapper a “lil nugget” in a recent post of the two young stars showing massive PDA.
Lil Xan released his debut album, Total Xanarchy, of this year. Although the rapper can be controversial—he is named after Xanax, even if he’s since quit taking the drug—his career has been on the upswing in the past year. Total Xanarchy included appearances by YG, Charli XCX, Yo Gotti, and Rae Sremmurd and has elsewhere collaborated with 2 Chainz and Diplo. He’s also headlined a 25-date North American tour. His most recent song, “Crazy Shit,” features Skooly.
Noah is new to the music industry as well, but admittedly has had less success than her rumored boyfriend. Her vocals can be heard on the iLL BLU remix of One Bit’s “My Way,” which premiered late last year. Still, people were shocked when the late XXXTentacion announced he had a track coming out with Noah titled “Again.”
