Some unsubstantiated rumors floated the internet this week that Iggy Azalea and Houston Texas wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins were dating. But the 28-year-old rapper is putting all speculation to rest, firing off a few tweets about how she’s single and expects to live the rest of her life in solitude.
"I have come to the conclusion I am going to be alone forever," she writes. You okay, girl?
Hopkins also went on Twitter to announce that he's single.
The rumors surfaced about two years after her horribly public breakup with Warriors guard Nick Young in 2016. Young reportedly cheated on Iggy making “a whole human” with another woman. Understandably, the rapper then burned all his clothes.
Evidence of this new romance came in the form of some Instagram comments shared by fans.
It’s unclear if Azalea and Hopkins ever dated, dated for only five minutes, or if this was a publicity stunt of some kind for the new music Iggy has been rolling out. But either way, the rapper is free as a bird, and that doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.
