You may remember Manchester, singer-songwriter Laura White from her time on X Factor back in 2008. Since then she's been extremely active in the music scene having written alongside renowned producers such as Naughty Boy, Sigala and Example, and has written for artists such as Paloma Faith and Rudimental.
Now ready to get her own singing career back on track, she returns with her new single "Heartbreaker" featuring none other than Ms. Banks. Produced by ProducerWez and Shakaveli from Naughty Boy's camp, the song blends her soulful vocals with an R&B bounce that is like heaven to your ears. In the video, the two appear to perform at a jazz bar, the perfect, intimate setting for the mood of the song.
"I really enjoyed working with Laura on this song," Ms. Banks explained to Complex via email. "She's such a sweet soul with a beautiful voice. You know I had to bring that sauce to 'Heartbreaker'! Filming the video was so much fun too, so make sure you check it out. I promise you: it's fire."
