In the long history of top-tier pop collabs, there are plenty of examples of seemingly complementary pairings going horribly awry. Thankfully, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande's "Bed" isn't one of them. Now, the SupaDubs-assisted Queen single has an official video featuring a previously teased mermaid and a cameo from Odell Beckham Jr. Catch the full thing above.

One more thing; there r 2 #BedVideo edits, as there were 2 directors involved. You’ll see the first today. 😛🎀🎁 also, it won’t be on vevo for like another 24 hours. You’ll see it on YouTube until then. I’ll prob release the other edit in a week. Idk. 💭🦄🧜🏽‍♀️🎀 🛏

Queen is out Aug. 10. Speaking with Beats 1's Zane Lowe on #NickiDay back in April, Minaj explained why she feels this is "the best album" she's ever made. "I wanted to make sure I was writing something that was meaningful to me and that would inspire and that would captivate my audience," she said. "But most importantly, I wanted to have fun [in the studio] again."

Minaj also lamented the "shenanigans" that come with 2018 music-making, a feeling that no doubt inspired her Queen approach. "And I was like man… I can rap," she told Lowe. "At the end of the day, that's what I do. I don't know about nobody else, but I rap."

Grande also has a new album on the horizon. Sweetener, including "No Tears Left to Cry" and the Minaj-featuring "The Light Is Coming," is due one week later on Aug. 17. "It's kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone's life or somebody else who brings light to your life, sweetening the situation," Grande told Jimmy Fallon in May. Pharrell, Max Martin, and Missy Elliott are among Grande's collaborators on the album, her first since 2016's Dangerous Woman. New single "God Is a Woman" is expected later this month.
