Lido has kept active since releasing his debut album Everything back in late 2016. Among some of his more notable work during this time period: a collaborative project with rising Seattle rapper J'von, an executive producer role on Towkio's debut studio album WWW., as well as producing on three of Chance the Rapper's four-song pack. He even flipped Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts into a seven-minute project.
With his new single "3 Million," the multi-talented Norwegian act has returned the focus on his solo material. The accompanying visual is a captivating performance that adds another layer to the line, "I am measuring time to make everything happen together."
As far as the meaning behind the record, Lido shared this message: ":3 million: years is a long time. I’d say it’s capable of holding at least a few eternities. Plenty more than any :always: I’ll experience, far beyond what I’m (designed) to grasp. If you don’t Mind I’ll slow this moment down as much as I can !!because¡¡ the only thing elastic enough to stre-tch over that much time is: a question."
