Justin Bieber took to IG to confirm that he and Hailey Baldwin have in fact got engaged. 

"Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY," Justin wrote. "I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make."

TMZ previously reported that Bieber popped the question while the couple was at a resort in the Bahamas. “They say everyone was at a restaurant on the property doing salsa dancing when Justin's security told everyone to put their phones away, because something special was about to happen,” two anonymous sources said, per TMZ. “They say Justin then proposed in front of everyone.” 

As reports of the engagement began to circulate, Justin's dad Jeremy Bieber hopped on social media to say "Proud is an understatement! Excited for the next chapter!"
