Juicy J and Famous Dex Hop on Diplo's "Welcome to the Party" Remix

A quick cheat to making your song vastly better is to update it with a Juicy J appearance. For his 'Deadpool 2' soundtrack single "Welcome to the Party," Diplo has done exactly that.

I was down with Diplo's "Welcome to the Party" the first time I heard it. Lil Pump, French Montana, Zhavia Ward, a soundtrack tie-in—what more could we possibly hope for in a lab-developed hit? Well, for starters, the track had a palpable lack of Juicy J.

Now, thanks to the just-dropped remix of the Deadpool 2 soundtrack cut, all has been righted. J is joined on the "Welcome to the Party" update by Famous Dex and the track's original featured artists. Stream "Party" 2.0 up top and/or below via Apple Music:

"You know Diplo, he's one of the best at what he do," Montana told Zane Lowe back in May when premiering the original version. "And it just so happens that he had this beat that he was working on. Me and Lil Pump had his friend doing the 'Gucci Gang' remix, and he played it for me, and the way everything came together was just magic." The beat in question, of course, should sound familiar to anyone who makes a habit of listening to goodgreat music.

2018 has proven to be another year stacked with Juicy J guest verses. He's popped in on tracks by Marshmello, ASAP Rocky, Rae Sremmurd, Lil Pump, and more in recent months. In May, he finally gave us his full (and previously unreleased) "Plain Jane" verse. The original track notably referenced the J-assisted classic "Slob on My Knob."
