There are still many unanswered questions regarding the invasion, such as what—if anything—was stolen and if anyone at the residence was injured during the incident.

French Montana

French Montana was targeted in a mysterious home invasion.

According to TMZ, two armed thieves broke into the rapper’s Calabasas residence early Tuesday morning when French and “an unknown number of people” were inside. Authorities were notified about the crime at around 9 a.m. local time; however, the invasion is said to have happened several hours before it was reported. We have not received an explanation for the delay, nor do we know what—if anything—was stolen.

TMZ reports no one was hospitalized following the invasion, but it’s unclear if anyone was injured. Officers are currently investigating the incident had yet to identify any suspects.

This isn’t the first time the home has been targeted by criminals. French purchased the property for $3.3 million from Selena Gomez in 2016. Gomez reportedly had numerous scares at the property, despite the fact that it was situated in a gated community. Just days after the singer moved into the home, a stalker was arrested in her guesthouse after breaking into the property. Gomez reportedly called police several more times following the initial break-in, as she feared more intruders.

Complex has reached out to French’s representatives for comment.
