After remixing A Tribe Called Quest's iconic "Can I Kick It" earlier this year, Caiden is back with another remix. This time, however, he's offering his take on a more recent song, with a remix of "Cops Shot the Kid."

Caiden, Consequence's six-year-old son, proves that rapping runs in the family. After remixing A Tribe Called Quest's iconic "Can I Kick It" earlier this year, the young rhymer is back with another remix of one of hip-hop's greats. This time, however, he's offering his take on a more recent song with a remix of Nas' NASIR track "Cops Shot the Kid."

Over the Kanye West production, Caiden addresses social injustice and police brutality, just like Nas did on the original track. It's striking to hear someone so young rapping about what Caiden covers here, and it's also impressive how well he articulates his thoughts on it all.

Following the release of his take on A Tribe Called Quest's "Can I Kick It," ATCQ announced the launch of their Kid Quester collection, which Caiden modeled for.

Listen to Caiden's "Cops Shot the Kid" remix above, and expect to hear more from Caiden when his debut album, Just Being a Kid, arrives soon.
