Lil Xan Responds to Yung Bans: 'Last Time I Checked We Were Friends?'

Taken off guard, Lil Xan responded with a message on Instagram that said, "Last time I checked we were friends? Why you tryna beef in a time like this when we going through a lot rn in rap, it’s all cool over here."

As a fan, it's easy to fall behind and get confused about the current status of rap beefs. Apparently, the same rule applies for some of the artists as well.

Both Yung Bans and Lil Xan have projects coming out this Friday, so a fan excitedly tweeted, "Drake, Yung Bans, and Lil Xan this Friday." In response, Bans quote tweeted the message and added Lil Xan's name alongside a green sick face emoji.

The message seemed odd, considering the two collaborated on Bans' Yung Bans Vol. 4 track "Yung Xan" earlier this year and they don't really have any history of publicly beefing. Taken off guard, Lil Xan responded with a message on Instagram that said, "Last time I checked we were friends? Why you tryna beef in a time like this when we going through a lot rn in rap, it’s all cool over here."

Bans has yet to respond to Xan's comment or give an explanation. Instead, he seems to be focusing on his music. Ahead of the release of his Yung Bans Vol 5 project later this week, he released a sunny new single called "Ridin" featuring YBN Nahmir and Landon Cube. You can watch the Cole Bennett-directed video for the Y2K-produced song below.

Similarly, Xan recently dropped an alternate "Wake Up" video in which he performs in a psych ward. Watch that here.
