Wale has returned with a surprise new EP titled Self Promotion after teasing the project on social media earlier in the day.

Before dropping the new project, Wale cleansed his Instagram account, deleting his other posts.
The EP features Wale's previously released track "Negotiations." Previous to that, the DMV rapper dropped the EP It’s Complicated back in March. Wale's last studio album, his fifth, was 2017's Shine. The project featured Lil Wayne, Major Lazer, Wizkid, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Davido and Olamide, and others.
During Monday Night RAW, commentator Corey Graves shared that Wale was going to be blessing fans with some new music.
