New Childish Gambino music has finally arrived.
While serving double duty as both host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live, the multi-talented entertainer unleashed a new record called "This Is America." The song comes in the wake of his Kobalt publishing deal announcement, and it marks Gambino’s first solo release since his 2016 Grammy-winning project Awaken, My Love!
Gambino's upcoming album may or may not be his final full-length project. In the summer of 2017, Gambino told HuffPost he was retiring his hip-hop alter ego, claiming Gambino music was no longer “necessary.” Hopefully, the Atlanta creator has had a change of heart.

Gambino released the track during this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, where he is serving as both host and musical guest. The multi-hyphenate will also kick off a North American tour this summer with guests Rae Sremmurd and Vince Staples.
