With the Billboard Music Awards approaching quickly, the nominees have finally been announced. Khalid and Bebe Rexha shared only some of the nominees this morning in some of the major categories, which just so happened to include their own names. "I'm a New York City girl, I didn't think I was going to be nominated for a country award!" said Rexha when she announced her own nod for top country song for the song “Meant To Be" with Florida Georgia Line.
Khalid, who is nominated for Top New Artist, goes up against 21 Savage, Camila Cabello, Cardi B and Kodak Black for the award. Kendrick Lamar is nominated for a whopping 15 awards, including Top Artist, Top Rap Album and Top Rap Tour. Drake is close behind with 9 nominations while Cardi has 7 including Top Female Rap Artist, a category she shares with Nicki Minaj and Bhad Bhabie.
