Stream Rich the Kid's Debut Album 'The World Is Yours'

Featuring Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lil Wayne, Trippie Redd, Quavo, and more.

Rich the Kid has high hopes for his debut album The World Is Yours.

Earlier this week, the Atlanta-based rapper sat down with the Rap-Upteam to discuss the much-anticipated project and what he wanted to achieve with it. And it’s obvious he doesn’t lack any confidence. “The World Is Yours is definitely one of the greatest albums of the year,” Rich said. “I’m shooting for the Grammys.”

You have to admire the man’s ambition.

The 14-track album includes the previously released singles “New Freezer” with Kendrick Lamar, “Plug Walk,” and the DJ Mustard-produced cut “Dead Friends”; the latter of which took aim at Lil Uzi Vert. “All them dead friends,” he raps. “You a middleman/You a lil’ man/Your money gettin’ shorter.”

“When I put out [the snippet], everybody just started putting a diss to it. You take it however you wanna take it—you gonna feel however you feel,” Rich toldRap-Up, before being asked if Uzi would respond. “I doubt it. Not on a music level. I’m not really looking for him to respond. It really ain’t no disrespect. He was talking on Twitter.”

But if Uzi did decide to respond, Rich told Zane Lowe he wouldn’t be worried, insisting the Philly rapper couldn’t write better than him.

You can check out The World Is Yours now on Apple Music/iTunes. You can also stream the project via Spotify.

The album also includes appearances by Future, Khalid, Trippie Redd, Offset, Quavo, and Lil Wayne.
