BlocBoy JB is back with more heat.
Fresh off the release of his Drake-assisted single “Look Alive,” the Memphis rapper has come through with an updated version of his “Rover” track; which features a new verse by 21 Savage. Check out the video above.
Fans got a taste of the remix earlier this month when footage from the “Rover 2.0” video shoot surfaced online. “Ridin' in the fuckin' Bentayga/Salt kill snails and I'll play ya/Baby mama with it, she'll mace ya,” Savage could be heard rapping in the clip, all the while BlocBoy performed his signature “Shoot” dance.
According to BlocBoy’s team, “Rover 2.0” will appear on the rapper’s upcoming Simi mixtape. BlocBoy spoke about the project during a recent interview with Beats 1 Radio.
“The only thing you can expect is Simi. It’s coming soon, real soon,” he said before he was asked if it would be a proper album or a tape. “I don’t know what I want to call it. It’s a project. But it’s the best one, I think, so far.”
We expect to see big things from BlocBoy in the upcoming months.
