A few months after dropping a Lil Kim-assisted single called "Wake Me Up" in November, Remy Ma continues her march towards the release of her comeback album 7 Winters & 6 Summers with another high-profile collaboration.
Showing her catchier, more radio-friendly side following the Nicki Minaj-dissing street single "Wake Me Up," Remy first previewed the Chris Brown collaboration "Melanin Magic" in January.
After serving a six year prison sentence for assault and illegal weapon possession from 2008 to 2014, 7 Winters & 6 Summers will be Remy Ma's first solo studio release since There’s Something About Remy: Based On A True Story in 2006. The album comes on the heels of a highly publicized beef with Azealia Banks that might spill over into court.
A press release explains that the album "fearlessly tackles multiple subjects including love, marriage, self-care, motherhood, identity and freedom, told from Remy's point of view."
