The 2017 BET Awards are here! Hosted by Leslie Jones, the show will include a number of performances from Bruno Mars, Future, DJ Khaled, and Migos, just to name a few.

Never one to disappoint, Bruno Mars, who has the second-most nominations with five, will set the night off right. Taking a break from the Nobody Safe Tour, Future and Migos are expected to carry that energy from their respective sets, and bring it to the BET Awards stage at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Following a disaster of a set at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, DJ Khaled is looking to prove to the world that the debacle wasn't on him, and they simply didn't want him to succeed.

Inching closer to releasing his eighth studio album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, Chris Brown will take the stage and show off the moves that made him a must-see. And speaking of moves, Big Sean is expected to continue riding the high off of the success of his latest work, I Decided. Top Dawg Entertainment label mates, SZA and Kendrick Lamar, will be there as well.

From ASAP Rocky getting involved in a fight following his performance at the BET Experience on Saturday night to Lil Kim being investigated by LAPD after a house she rented for a BET weekend party was robbed, the days leading up to the 2017 BET Awards have been wild, to say the least. Hopefully, these performances can get us back to focusing on what truly matters here—the music.
