Solange's album A Seat at the Table has been on repeat for us since its release last week, with songs like "Rise," "Weary," and "Cranes in the Sky" receiving major burn.

It seems we're not the only one who can't get Solange's new tracks out of our head. One Twitter user was feeling the same way and decided to mash up "Cranes in the Sky" with Mary J. Blige's dance moves. "Making this video of Mary J Blige dancing to Solanges cranes in the sky has been in my head since I heard it and I had time today so...😩," he captioned the video.

The swift percussive backdrop for "Cranes in the Sky" sets the perfect stage for Blige's signature dance moves that she has performed over the years. Both artists are incredible on their own, but this mashup is bringing a whole new level of joy.

Watch the clip above and read why Solange's A Seat at the Table is the black empowerment album we needed right here. You can also catch Mary J. Blige perform her dance moves live when she links up with Maxwell for the King and Queen of Hearts World Tour kicking off in Europe Oct. 13 before heading back stateside for a string of arena tour dates. Even better, check out what the pair had to say about the tour during their recent conversation with Complex here.
