Hot on the heels of the release of his new album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, Travi$ Scott stopped by Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning on Wednesday to catch up with the crew. While he was there, he spent some time talking about the impact he feels Kid Cudi has made on music and said he believes Cudi is underappreciated. "Not at all," Travi$ said when he was asked if he thinks people give Cudi enough credit. "Cudi should be a top tier artist...I think he fathered a lot of the style of music. He's a good influence and a good help."

Travi$ also discussed the long-awaited G.O.O.D. Music compilation, Cruel Winter, and said he has played a key role in its creation. "Cruel Winter, I'm going to be executive producing that album," he said, before delivering the first hard release window we've heard for the project. "It's coming very soon... I'm saying February." He went on to reveal that "every G.O.O.D. Music artist is involved." Travi$ also promised the album will be "very youthful, straight to the point, just the illest ever." It will serve as the official follow-up to the 2012 G.O.O.D. Music album Cruel Summer.

Elsewhere in the interview, Travi$ talked about meeting and working with Kendrick Lamar, noting that Kendrick makes every song his own. "That's why he's the greatest artist," he said. "[He] don't care if it's a feature, he's like 'It's my song.'"

Travi$ also touched on about his new album as well as Kanye's thoughts on and contributions to the project. You can check out a clip of Travi$ Scott interview on Ebro in the Morning above, and watch the full interview below.
