DJ Khaled is on top of the world right now. In addition to earning his first No. 1 album this year, the 40-year-old artist has also performed on one of the biggest tours of 2016, landed several major TV commercials, and became the unofficial king of Snapchat. And if you’ve ever wondered how he did it all, then you’ll definitely want to keep your eye on his upcoming project.
It’s been announced that the mogul/executive/producer/recording artist has written his first book, appropriately titled THE KEYS. According to a press release, the work will break down his philosophy for success, and will include stories from his own life as well as “mogul talk” by everyone from Puff Daddy and Jay Z to L.A. Reid and Lyor Cohen.
“THEY tried to hide the keys from me when I was coming up. Now I’ve mastered the keys and I want to let everybody know that these are keys from my perspective,” Khaled announced. “This book will help you follow your vision as long as you have passion, dedication, blood, sweat and tears, and especially ignore when THEY try to bring you down. Major Key, I wish I had this book when I was coming up. This my passion pain success, blessing and more wins! We the best!”
The book will be written in collaboration with Mary H. K. Choi, whose byline has been featured in publications like The New York Times, GQ, WIRED, and Complex. THE KEYS is expected drop Nov. 22 through Crown Publishing Group. You can check out the amazing cover below, and pre-order the book today at Barnes & Noble.
