Kanye West made a big deal about exclusively releasing his music via Tidal indefinitely, but tonight, The Life of Pablo has been released on Apple Music and Spotify, and has been made available for purchase on Kanye's website. In a tweet from just last month, Kanye stated, "My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale... You can only get it on Tidal."

This isn't the first time his tweet conviction has been tested. He also declared that Puma would never have a deal with any member of his family just days before Kylie Jenner inked her design deal with the sneaker brand.

Nonetheless, after over a month of Tidal exclusivity, it's good to see that Kanye has unleashed his new album on the wider streaming world. It's better, but even more surprising to see him make it available to buy. Despite the wider release, Def Jam told The New York Times that the album will still be receiving more updates in the weeks and months to come. This comes on top of Kanye updating a dozen tracks Wednesday with small changes to beats, lyrics, and mixing.

If you still haven't heard The Life of Pablo yet, you can stream the album on Apple Music here, check it out on Spotify below, or purchase it here for $20.
