On Mar. 25, Slackk will release his highly-anticipated Aviary EP on R&S and now we've got the second listen: "Hundred Flute". It's been pretty hard to ascribe any one genre to Slackk's music for some time now, and that difficulty has only increased with time. His productions are now entirely their own beast. "Hundred Flute" sees the Boxed co-founder juxtaposing crushing, inventive industrial percussion against a surprisingly bouncy melody that slices right through the oppressive rhythms. Though the chugging percussion makes it an ideal club weapon, the woodwind melody and off-kilter rhythms make it just as engaging in your headphones. Listen below.
