Future and Ciara got engaged last night. Ciara was celebrating her birthday in New York City, when she was surprised by a 15-carat diamond ring courtesy of Future. The rapper was in the area as part of the Do You Want A Tour? tour, which was stopped in Newark last night and heads to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn tonight. The couple has been dating for over a year, and now join a growing list of rappers and their celebrity girlfriends who have gotten engaged within the last month. First came Big Sean and Naya Rivera, and then last week, Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian.

The news was confirmed by their publicist last night; however, Ciara seems to have reacted to the news via Twitter also.
