A Texas woman says she caught an STD after a janitor where she worked inserted his penis into her water bottle.

Lucio Catarino Diaz, per a report from regional outlet KPRC, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the alleged incident, which is said to have taken place at a medical office in Houston. The woman, who has not been publicly named, had been a 20-year employee at the facility in question.

As noted in court documents cited in multiple reports, the unidentified woman had started bringing her own water bottle to work after noticing an odd smell coming from the communal dispenser. Not long after, the woman said, she left her bottle unattended at her desk and later noticed a similarly odd scent. After disposing of this particular bottle, the woman brought another one to work, only to later notice the scent and appearance of urine.

A subsequent test confirmed that the suspected urine was, in fact, urine. The woman then set up a camera, which is reported to have later caught Diaz placing his penis inside the bottle. Per a separate report from KTRK, which said it had viewed the incident-capturing footage, the woman has hired an attorney and is hoping for a trial.

When arrested earlier this month, as the Fort Worth Star-Telegram noted in their report, Diaz was confirmed to have been infected with herpes simplex virus type 1 and chlamydia. Following the alleged bottle incident, which investigators say Diaz has admitted to, the woman tested positive for the former.

Complex has reached out to the Houston Police Department, as well as to an attorney associated with the alleged victim, for comment. This story may be updated.
