Katherine Del Rio has not been shy about posting photos of her family on Instagram, especially her husband, actor David Del Rio and their young child. She has also been very candid about her life and marriage on social media.
The couple has two kids. "Coco Del Rio arrived with a smile on January 20, right in the heart of a winter storm.💞Her big sister is completely obsessed with her, and we are indescribably elated and exhausted. Thank you, God for your miracles🥹🙏🏻," Katherine wrote on Instagram in March, sharing a baby photo.
"My stupid love story ♥️ 🇲🇽," she wrote in Spanish, sharing a photo of her kissing David on the beach.
She did raise concerns about her husband's work schedule in another post, this one from January. "2024 was the hardest year of my life. Battling PPD, a brutal pregnancy, & raising a toddler alone while my incredible husband worked 14hr days took its toll," she wrote. "Add a few moves, loss, & a huge identity shift, & I was near my breaking point. God forced me to pause, check in on my mental health, & do my best to rest—though with a toddler, that’s easier said than done🙃"
However, she added that there were moments of "grace" amid the "chaos," including, "God surprised us with a BABY!🤯" She also shared a collage of photos showing her with Del Rio and their oldest child.
David and his wife are making headlines after Deadline reported on October 9 that David was fired from CBS’s Matlock series following a sexual-assault allegation, according to the outlet.
To be clear, he hasn't been arrested nor formally accused of any crime.
Deadline reported that David is the subject of an accusation relating to a co-worker named Leah Lewis. According to Deadline, he was fired and escorted off the set after an internal investigation.
David has not publicly responded to the accusation, but his wife, who is an actress and chef, went after Lewis on her Instagram page, according to Page Six, before deleting the post. Katherine has appeared on television shows like Big Time Rush and Awkward.
“This is the most disturbing human being I have ever met," Katherine allegedly wrote of Lewis, according to Page Six.
In 2019, Katherine wrote about her romance with David, which started in 2010 when they met at a Broadway play, "Currently gypsies bouncing around the world on another adventure together. 🙃 But LETS BE REAL, lost passports, changed flights, car problems, job curve balls, and general stress have all been a huge part of this adventure. 😅Through it all, however, I continue to be reminded how blessed I am that God chose David to be my partner, even in the times of complete craziness.💎"
