A video of an angry British tourist berating and assaulting chicken sellers in Morocco has sparked outrage online. As seen in the brief clip, which was filmed at a market in Tangier, the woman called the vendors "fucking thick" and said they "can't fucking read." From there she walked up to the chickens in cages, allegedly protesting the way the animals were being treated.
The traders at the market attempted to stop her as she tried to rip open the cages, and she even appears to have tried biting one of the people stopping her. "You don't treat animals like that," she said, providing ammunition to those who are insulted by the mere existence of vegans and vegetarians.
She was reportedly later restrained and taken to hospital by police, who said she was suffering from "hysteria."
The intense video, in which the woman yells as everyone around remains calm, also shows her screaming "get off" at the vendor who attempted to stop the commotion. As the Daily Mail reports, she called the person filming her a "dumb fucking c*nt" and flipped off the camera in an extended version of the video.
