Stone Island has expanded its Spring/Summer 2022 collection with the launch of its new Cotton Ripstop OFF-DYE OVD capsule.
Taking its name from the processes used for each item, the eye-catching range features a slew of outerwear and knitwear pieces.
All of the jackets are made using a reactive dyeing and resin coating cycle and are dried before being treated with corrosive resins to remove part of the colour. The artisan process results in one-of-a-kind garments, which are then over-dyed, washed and dried once more.
Anoraks and overshirts boast a unique construction—made from military-specification cotton ripstop—and feature technical details including a hood that can be split and packed away and bellow hand pockets. Elsewhere, the capsule comprises a hooded cotton fleece sweatshirt, a vest designed using run-proof cotton mesh, and a selection of crewnecks constructed from cotton fleece or pure cotton.
In true Stone Island style, each item is rounded out with a Stone Island badge on the left sleeve, which has also been reworked using the OFF-DYE OVD process.
