Tyler, the Creator’s streetwear brand Golf Wang has just unveiled its new Championship collection, which is basketball-themed.
The collection launches online and in-store Saturday, Jan. 22, and is comprised of pieces including a letterman-style jacket, an athletic jersey set, a velour warm-up tracksuit, plus a championship ring, headband, and special edition basketball.
Alongside the announcement of the Golf Wang Championship collection, there’s also a new lookbook featuring Utah Jazz player and 2021’s Sixth Man of the Year, Jordan Clarkson.
The Championship collection is Golf Wang’s first drop of the year, following the Winter 2021 collection.
Tyler also dropped his fragrance French Waltz, which arrived alongside a number of other pieces including a $1,100 leather jacket made with Schott NYC, as part of his Golf le Fleur line.
The reveal of the collection comes not long after Louis Vuitton presented its Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection by Virgil Abloh, which was assisted with a soundtrack from Tyler, the Creator. Some fans noticed the music sounded a lot like Tyler, and he confirmed as much with a quick “bingo” on Twitter.
“Blessed,” he added, later shouting out musicians who helped him put the music together.
