As the world awaits the theoretically imminent release of Certified Lover Boy, Drake’s October’s Very Own clothing line returns with a new owl-branded apparel collection featuring fashion muse Jasmine Tookes.
OVO announced Friday the global debut of its OVO Women’s Garment “Weekender Collection,” showcased by Victoria’s Secret model Tookes.
The collection includes a line of hoodies, velour sweatsuits, t-shirts, shorts, and more.
The new drop arrives after OVO and the Raptors teamed up to release a new NBA pre-game apparel collection last December. Revealed via a mini-lookbook featuring Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet and OVO Sound artist Baka Not Nice, the collection included a new Nike practice jersey, some tees, and sweatsuits. The black jersey is especially fresh, featuring a red swoosh, red Raptors lettering, and of course, Drake’s famous golden owl.
The Raptors collaboration was followed in April by Drizzy and OVO teasing a round of Certified Lover Boy merch involving the Hollywood-based Chrome Hearts label.
Ten years since launching OVO, the clothing line has continued to increase in popularity, highlighted by countless seasonal collections. As Drake told Complex way back in 2011, “I want to give people a piece of myself, that’s me, that’s all I have. I’m just trying to find a way to do it properly.”
