Prada Mode returns this month with a new iteration boasting an immersive art-forward experience from Martine Syms.

The seventh edition of the traveling social club at the Genghis Cohen restaurant and venue on Fairfax Avenue will be staged on Feb. 16 and 17, with attendees being treated to everything from unique dining experiences to music.

Focus will remain on Syms’ “HelLA World,” billed as an “interactive installation” featuring text and video elements. The installation blends live performance with stranger-to-stranger conversation by way of a monitor that will display guests’ messages and other contributed content.

Featured throughout are other monitors that will display footage and photos, with the monitors expected to wrap around the space, dotted with back-and-forth discussions spanning conversations of both the scripted and spontaneous variety.

Members’ access to the space will be available throughout the planned two-day installation designed to land amid this month’s Frieze Los Angeles festivities. Head here for additional info on all things Prada Mode Los Angeles.

The 2022 edition of Frieze Los Angeles, meanwhile, kicks off on Feb. 17 and runs through Feb. 20. This year’s event marks the first since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and is also the first to see Christine Messineo serving as fair director.

“Frieze Los Angeles is a moment, a celebration of the city, a moment for us all to gather together,” Messineo said this month when looking ahead at the 2022 lineup. For the first time, this year’s event is being held in Beverly Hills.
