Manchester-based streetwear brand Represent has officially launched a vintage-style collection from its luxury activewear line. Drawing inspiration from the golden era of bodybuilding, the nineteen-piece line-up includes a selection of oversized tees, tanks, shorts, hoodies and sweaters.

Serving an extension of the brand’s popular mainline styles, the capsule combines a vintage colour palette of black and “Smoke Grey” with sweat-wicking, durable, and breathable materials. A George And The Dragon graphic—arguably the standout detail—features heavily throughout the range, while the quote, “Fortitudine Vincimus” (By Endurance We Conquer), has been used to express the unbeatable spirit mentality which underpins the ethos of the collection.

Speaking on the collection, Represent owner and founder, George Heaton, said: “The Vintage 247 collection is an unusual take on sportswear. Infusing the Represent DNA of aged washes, distressed detailing, and graphic prints with activewear materials. The capsule collection contains ‘80s bodybuilding references for the silhouettes, oversized sleeveless sweaters and long sleeve loose fit tees, alongside running half tights, and 2-in-1 shorts. With the recent success of incorporating larger numbers branding, we follow suit with this collection, with old English typography in papyrus on black and a shadowed grey on the vintage grey wash featuring George and the Dragon etched graphic work.”
