LIE is a modern women’s lifestyle brand that celebrates a drastic take on masculine-feminine duality. Led by creative director Lee Chung-Chung, this season the Korean label looks to a post-pandemic world for a dynamic yet romantic collection.

Inspired by the Belle Époque era, Spring/Summer 2022 builds on Chung-Chung’s Perfectly Imperfect—a concept that explores the balance between the bold and the reserved.

Perfectly Imperfect was first introduced in the label’s SS21 collection by modifying traditional silhouettes; designed to express “the beauty of individuality”, the theme’s main features include sentimental hues and feminine contours as well as signature tailoring, distinctive details, and prominent mix and matching techniques.

For the brand’s latest collection, dynamic cuttings with voluminous silhouettes highlight LIE’s sophisticated tailoring, while asymmetrical lines create unique and striking patterns. Various shades of blue are also introduced to the collection, fusing energetic movement with LIE’s playful mix.
