Birmingham-based streetwear imprint Hoodrich has teamed up with crime drama series Top Boy to celebrate the release of its new season landing today.
Set on the fictional Summerhouse estate in the London borough of Hackney, the series focuses on the lives of characters including Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane ‘Kano’ Robinson) and has been praised for its realistic portrayal of reality and discrimination, along with its unforgettable supporting cast including For Life’s Nicholas Pinnock, Michaela Coel, Letitia Wright, David Hayman and Benedict Wong.
The concise capsule sees the brand pay homage to the hit TV show, as key faces from the series are combined with heritage Hoodrich pieces to create a new DNA. The collection itself features a variety of staples, including a trio of T-shirts, a tracksuit and one stand-alone Hoodie, in a slew of monochrome colourways.
Details include screen-printed graphics which are set against the Hoodrich moniker and can be seen across the reverse of several pieces, sliced up imagery and a collaborative motif that graces the back of both the tracksuit and hoodie.
