Building on its collaborative releases with Paria Farzaneh, Kerwin Frost and Stüssy earlier this year, Beats has now teamed up with Amsterdam-based Daily Paper for a pair of Studio Buds inspired by New York’s ’80s and ’90s hip-hop and graffiti scene.

The noise-cancelling wireless buds come rendered in white, along with a graffiti-inspired iteration of the Daily Paper shield logo. Similarly, a white charging case is wrapped with black and red tags across its front and back, while the exterior packaging also continues the same graffiti theme. As for the earphones themselves, each pair boasts up to 24-hour battery life, as well as water and sweat resistance.

Launching the collaboration, Daily Paper co-founder and design director Abderrahmane Trabsini said: “Music is one of the most important brand pillars for us as it brings our community together. Working with Beats has always been on our wish list of collaborations. It’s also an extension of the current SS22 collection which is inspired by hip-hop culture.”

To showcase the release, Daily Paper has unveiled a brand new campaign featuring Unknown T. Directed by PLACES+FACES founder Ciesay, the visuals follow the rapper’s illustrious career, from writing lyrics in his bedroom to selling out major shows, and also sees Unknown T discuss his upbringing, environment and influences.

The Daily Paper x Beats Studio Buds will be available to cop from the Daily Paper web store and physical locations from May 26.daily-paper-beats-by-dre-studio-buds
