London-based imprint Aries has collaborated with French shoe brand ROA for a capsule collection comprising a unique interpretation of the latter’s original Andreas Hiking Boot.

Offered in “All-Black” and “Zebra Pony” prints, Aries has added its own spin on the classic outdoor silhouette, reshaping it with an asymmetrical toe construction with reflective taping and 3MM details, and lacing it with a flecked climbing cord in two, interchangeable colourways.

In keeping with the subversive look, each pair also combines a dual-branded motif on the outer high-top collar with classic ROA features, such as quick lacing, external metal hooks, pull-tab heel, rubber toe cap and Vibram® megagrip toothed tread pattern sole.

Shot in the North East of England by Kuba Ryniewicz, the campaign offers a satirical perspective on the UK’s obsession with the outdoors, and highlights the creative’s ability to challenge traditional portraiture and narrate unheard stories through varied casting and pursuits against stunning outdoor landscapes.

You can cop the ROA x Aries ‘Andreas’ hiking boot right now from ariesaries.com and the Aries Flagship Store.
