Aries is all about keeping the collaborative spirit alive and now the streetwear brand is expanding its line-up of partners with a debut iteration of Reebok’s Classic Leather silhouette.
Known for its bold, genderless approach to design, brand founder Sofia Prantera breathes new life into the beloved model. Made from premium leather, the shoe is reworked to feature an aqua-tinted upper as well as gold detailing stamped across the tongue and logos.
“Reebok’s Classic Leather is such an important symbol of British style, so it was very flattering to be asked to interpret it,” explains Sofia Prantera in a press release. “The concept was to embrace the simplicity of Classic Leather and respect its flawless design and long history. How can we give the shoe an Aries twist without compromising its simplicity?”
Inspired by the aesthetics of mystics, wizards, and magicians—all of which resonate with Aries’ pagan influences—rounding out the details are reflective heels, otherworldly graphics, exposed retro foam, and a secret mystical note hidden on the inside.
