Two of the most respected and revered names in menswear, sportswear giants adidas and Norse Projects, have teamed up for a two-piece footwear collection for Summer 2023.

Having previously partnered under the German brand’s Consortium line, the forthcoming collection takes in two distinctive silhouettes inspired by the black sand beach of Tjørnuvík and the imposing sea stacks that dominate the north coast’s horizon: the Campus, and the lesser-spotted Skyscrapper, a multi-purpose sneaker with its eye set firmly to any kind of terrain.

The lightweight adidas Consortium x Norse Projects Campus has been crafted using English calf leather, as well as recycled elements across the stripes and heel overlay. Additionally, the sneaker’s suede upper is Scotchguard-coated to make it water-repellant, and the tongue on both models has been updated with lightweight foam for comfort and breathability.

Representing the outdoors, the Skyscrapper serves as a testament to the pursuit of technical mastery that welcomes the varied terrains and lands of the Faroe Islands. Made with a two-way stretch woven nylon, the silhouette arrives in “Ash Black”, while “Deep Navy” characterises the obscure dark spectrum of colour on the glassy rocks as they meet the shores of the sea.

You can cop the Norse Projects x adidas Spring/Summer 2023 collection from June 29 on the Norse Projects webstore.
