Location: P.S. 11, New York

Year: 2010

"Allen Benedikt, a long-time friend and founder of 12oz Prophet, invited us, in collaboration with Futura, a local artist, to create a mural on the facade of P.S. 11 on 21st Street in Chelsea. The mural of a giant extends over 80 feet high and is currently visible in New York. We like calling this project 'one world, one voice' in reference to the numerous flags on the giant's shirt. This is part of a larger project where we want to paint giants in every country around the world. We have done a number of these figures in Greece, Germany, Holland, England, USA, Brazil, Portugal, and more."

"This museum invited us, in 2010, to paint its facade with the aim of creating a permanent mural, which became a reference to our hometown, São Paulo. The Museum of Modern Art is located in a very important tourist point of the city, Ibirapuera Park, and the building is a work of the most famous Brazilian architect, Oscar Niemeyer. "

Year: 2007

"In 2007, following the advice of his children, Lord Glasgow invited three artists from Brazil, Os Gemeos, NUNCA and NINA, to paint the facade and turret of his 800-year-old Kelburn Castle in Fairlie, North Ayrshire, Scotland. This project was meant to be temporary until the castle was resurfaced. The Lord has been working with Historic Scotland to get permission to keep the mural as a permanent feature of the building because the castle became a tourist destination."

"Urban Forms Gallery is the main project of the Foundation Urban Forms. It's an interesting permanent exhibition of murals in the city of Lodz, Poland, created directly on the outer walls of the building in the city center. In 2012, we were invited to create a mural in partnership with the Spanish artist and our friend, Aryz. We also took the opportunity to work on abandoned properties and streets in the city."

"This project happened in 2010, and it was the first collaboration between us and the Italian artist Blu. We also participated in the Festival Crono with Blu. During this collaboration we also produced the solo exhibition titled Pra quem mora lá o céu é lá (Portuguese for 'For those who live there, the sky is there'), which took place at the Berardo Museum."

"The mural Don't Believe the Hype was part of a project we were invited to do at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego curated by Pedro Alonzo. This project also involved a group exhibition titled 'Viva la Revolución' as well as our permanent mural."

"Goldman Properties and Deitch Projects invited us to paint the Houston Street and Bowery Wall in 2009. This historical site became famous for the 1982 mural painted by Keith Haring, which was recreated in 2008. We were the second artists to be selected for an ongoing mural program at this site."

"In response to the sudden devastating news of a friend's passing, we decided to dedicate the wall in memory of Dash Snow (SACER IRAK CREW). The mural was on view from July 17, 2009–March 31, 2010, and it is still preserved behind the false wooden wall on the same site."

Year: 2007

"Lithuania has always been a special place for us because it is the country where our mother's family originated. In 2007, our mother, Margarida Kanciukaitis, was invited to show some of her embroidery works at the Kaunas Biennial TEXTILE, and we were invited to paint a mural outside the museum. It was so interesting to bring our vibrant and colorful universe to the grey walls of Kaunas. We really loved the contrast between the yellow [mural] and the dark skies of the Lithuanian winter."

"We were invited by the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston to paint a mural and participate in an exhibition curated by Pedro Alonzo. This was our first solo museum exhibition in the US. It was very exciting to have the opportunity to paint a mural in a city that has very little public art and break down these barriers. The site was particularly special because it is directly across from the main train station and the Federal Reserve building as well as situated on the Greenway. The mural will be visible through the fall of 2013."

"The Luggage Store Gallery is a nonprofit multidisciplinary arts organization created and run by artists and based out of San Francisco, CA. They heard about our work through Barry McGee, who had been working with them for a while. Curated by Darryl Smith and Laurie Lazer, Luggage Store hosted our first North American solo exhibition titled Pavil in 2003. In celebration of the tenth anniversary of the mural and exhibition, we plan to paint a new mural on the gallery wall during the fall of 2013."
