We already know New Balance has us covered when it comes to sneakers. You absolutely can’t go wrong with a clean pair of 550s or classic 990s. But anyone who’s been following Aimé Leon Dore’s hyped New Balance collaborations knows that New Balance has some great graphic T-shirts within its archive as well. Fortunately, Aimé Leon Dore’s founder, Teddy Santis, is also heading the footwear label’s Made in USA line. Along with delivering some great footwear, Santis has also resurfaced some vintage New Balance gems that are thankfully not going to sell out like his popular ALD collaborations. This T-shirt is a great example. It’s inspired by New Balance marketing materials sourced from the early ‘80s. It’s perfect for anyone looking to add some tasteful throwback looks to their summer outfit.

Yes, you’re reading this correctly. Helmut Lang teamed up with Uniqlo to release pairs of its iconic and timeless jeans from the ‘90s. Anyone who has owned a pair of Helmut Lang jeans knows exactly how perfect they really are. Their minimalist silhouette looks sophisticated and stylish. While a pair of classic cut jeans directly from Helmut Lang could cost over $300, this option from Uniqlo looks nearly identical and costs a fraction of the price. While it may be shorts season right now, it’s always wise to keep a clean pair of denim on ice. Since Uniqlo’s collaborations with high-end labels usually sell out quickly, it’s best to pick these up now before it’s too late.

Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show was presented at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, and it’s frankly all that we can think about this week. The show was filled with apt references to Pharrell’s personal style history and even unveiled new music from Clipse on the runway. Whether you enjoyed Pharrell’s first collection for the house or not, these shows always get everyone thinking if it’s finally time to invest in some Louis Vuitton. At retail, purchasing Louis Vuitton’s leather goods could always create sticker shock. And while buying pre-loved luxury goods is cheaper, who knows if you’re actually really getting the real thing? But that’s why the 62-year-old, Los Angeles–based department store Fred Segal recently teamed up with Fashionphile to sell secondhand luxury goods. Fashionphile has been in the business of reselling used luxury goods since 1999. While other secondhand e-commerce platforms have questionable authentication processes, Fashionphile is largely considered to be one of the safest platforms to shop from when buying used luxury. Currently there is this great Soft Trunk bag produced during the late Virgil Abloh’s run at Louis Vuitton. The brand still sells these exact bags at retail today but for $4,700. This bag is a great deal and might be worth the investment in the long run. Fred Segal is also selling an orange wallet and a trunk handbag made in collaboration with the NBA that were both released during Abloh’s time at Louis Vuitton.

There’s always room for another great hat in your closet. Recently, Bodega got some of these popular Martine Rose hats in stock. Various iterations of this “Barnsley” cap have been worn by Tremaine Emory, Ye, and most recently Kendrick Lamar in his “Hillbillies” music video. The hat was originally introduced in Martine Rose’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Rose is a designer who frequently references football. So it’s likely that she shouted out the small North England mining town because of its football club. The hat is completely made out of cotton, features various distressed details, an adjustable velcro strap, and embroidered branding. While it may seem pricey for a cap, this is really an investment piece. There are resellers on Grailed already trying to sell this exact cap for double the price. So act fast.
