After rumors began circulating that Terry Richardson was going to be a father, the famed photographer took to Instagram today to confirm the news with even bigger news: He and his girlfriend, Alexandra Bolotow, are expecting twins.
According to original story in The New York Post, sources said the couple had been “discreetly telling friends” about Bolotow’s pregnancy and that she was about three to four months along.
This is awesome news for the couple, who actually met 10 years ago when Bolotow was interning for Richardson while studying at NYU. She eventually became a full-time employee, and was also featured in over 90 explicit photos in Richardson’s 2005 Kibosh book; however, according to New York Magazine, the two didn’t start dating until 2014, following the photographer’s breakup with Audrey Gelman.
“This has been a difficult journey,” Richardson wrote in the Instagram caption, “and we are so thankful to be surrounded by so much love and support from our friends and family, and some incredibly smart doctors! I'm sure the kids will be excited to use [The New York Post story] as a Throwback Thursday one of these days!!!”
